Facial Feminization Surgery – Before and After

This patient underwent the following procedures as part of Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS).

– Genioplasty – The chin was narrowed to create a more delicate chin. This is most clearly visible in the front view, which illustrates how the angles of the chin were reduced to produce a softer, rounder chin.
– Jaw contouring – Gentle narrowing of the jaw was performed to preserve the sharp jawline definition while tapering the jaw into a narrower chin.
– Rhinoplasty – A closed approach was used to preserve the patient’s bifid nasal tip, a unique facial feature. The goal was to maintain its appearance while performing a reduction of the nasal dorsum and tip projection. A smooth nasal dorsum is best appreciated in the three-quarter views, and the reduction in the dorsum and tip projection is most evident in the lateral views. This finesse rhinoplasty involved making subtle changes to specific areas of the nose while preserving some of the existing features.
