Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) Before and After Photographs

These before and after photographs of facial feminization surgery (FFS) demonstrate the effects that can be obtained with a type 3 brow bone reduction, orbital rim contouring, coronal brow lift, and closed rhinoplasty.
This amazing person underwent the feminizing procedures listed above in addition to taking a biopsy of a mass that was identified in her sinuses.
The workup for the sinus lesion prolonged the time before she could go to the operating room for her procedure, but we prioritize safety above all else.
After discussing with a specialist in these types of findings, a biopsy of the mass was obtained during the procedure. Thankfully, it was notably benign (not cancerous). By spending more time in her initial workup, we were able to confirm the operation was safe. During the operation, the sampling of the mass allowed us to obtain a diagnosis and prevent additional follow-up or invasive testing.
We were so excited to move forward with the operation for this patient, to do so in a safe fashion, and to secure a diagnosis. We are looking forward to watching her continue her journey!
These before after photos of forehead feminization allow people to see what type of results can be obtained from a type 3 brow bone reduction, orbital contouring, brow lift, and a closed rhinoplasty.
Every person’s goals are different, so it is important to discuss your specific situation and expectations with your surgeon.
