Tracheal shave surgery is designed to reduce the prominence of the Adam’s apple, or laryngeal cartilage. This allows it to be less visible from the side, from the front, and when looking upwards. The main goals of the procedure are to reduce the visibility of the cartilage while also placing a scar in a location that is difficult to see.

Dr. Mittermiller’s approach to facial feminization surgery is to create a result that appears feminine and natural. These before after photos allow people to see what type of results can be obtained after undergoing various procedures.
