These before and after photographs of a rhinoplasty by Dr. Mittermiller demonstrate some of the key priorities that one often hopes to accomplish with this procedure. This procedure is performed during FFS (Facial Feminization Surgery).

Prior to surgery, she had a deviated nasal dorsum, dorsal hump, and an over-projected nose. There were multiple goals for this operation. They included straightening the nose, reducing the dorsal bump, and creating smoother contours of the nose when seen from a three-quarters view. 

She is only 8.5 months out from surgery in these photos, so there will likely still be a tiny amount of reduction in the swelling at the tip of those nose over the next year as the swelling continues to subside.

Dr. Mittermiller’s approach to facial feminization surgery is to create a result that appears feminine and natural. These before after photos allow people to see what type of results can be obtained after undergoing various procedures.
