These before and after photographs of a rhinoplasty and orbital rim reduction by Dr. Mittermiller demonstrate some of the key priorities that one often hopes to accomplish with this procedure. This procedure is performed during FFS (Facial Feminization Surgery).

This patient underwent multiple procedures as part of FFS. Prior to the operation, her nose had visible dorsal asymmetries including a visible transition from the upper nose to the middle nose, a deviated nasal dorsum, a dorsal hump, and prominent orbital rims.

As part of the rhinoplasty, the dorsal hump was reduced, the dorsum was straightened, the transition from the upper nose to the middle nose was smoothed, and the orbital rim projection was reduced.
