Male Rhinoplasty

These before and after photographs demonstrate the core goals of a successful male rhinoplasty and its vital role in Facial Masculinization Surgery (FMS).

For this patient, the primary objectives were to correct a droopy tip, straighten the nasal bridge (dorsum), and project a strong, masculine aesthetic.

Patient Goals and Surgical Strategy

Straightening the Dorsum: We reduced the dorsal hump just enough to eliminate the bump while preserving a strong, straight bridge appropriate for male facial proportions.

Correcting a Droopy Tip: Using structural rhinoplasty techniques, the nasal tip was subtly elevated. This corrected the drooping appearance while keeping the rotation strictly within natural, masculine norms.

Preserving Natural Character: The overall volume of the nose was balanced to harmonize with the patient’s existing features

Dr. Mittermiller’s Approach to Male Rhinoplasty

A successful male rhinoplasty requires a highly tailored approach. Men typically require different nasal angles and structural support than female patients to prevent an “over-rotated” or “scooped” appearance. Dr. Mittermiller prioritizes natural-looking, structurally sound results that complement your unique facial anatomy.

Because every face is entirely unique, your surgical plan will be fully customized. We encourage you to review our before-and-after gallery to see the diverse, balanced outcomes possible with this procedure.
