These before and after photographs of a chin reduction surgery by Dr. Mittermiller demonstrate some of the key priorities that one often hopes to accomplish with this procedure. This procedure is often used for FFS (Facial Feminization Surgery).

Prior to surgery, she had a square chin with minimal projection (forward location). By shaping the chin, we were able to create improved taper and increase the apparent projection (forward location).

She is only 1 month out in this photo, so the swelling and result will only continue to improve!
